LOVE IS THE BEGINNING | WITH KAYA COCOE (BEFORE NIGHT THOUGHTS)
LOVE IS THE BEGINNING
With love, there is no limit and it turns the heart whichever way it pleases...
We have mostly heard or read that God is love (See 1 John 4:8) and yet we do not understand that it's the way in which God loves that often goes unnoticed. We think that God is full of love but not that he is love itself.
Being loved is the conditions of being with someone who cannot help but love you, keep you, and protect you. They treasure your every move as if you are the only one existing...like you are the only one in the room of life. They do not equate the love as an emotion that is fleeting, returns and leaves again; however, they are deepened by the act of love. Crushing, powerful, and transcendent--love.
When life gets hard and difficult we want love.
We want to be loved.
God never leaves us without the chance to experience his love, his agape and we are underneath the gaze of his love consistently. It is powerful to note that God never intended the world we live in today that is why he gave a rescue through his own body, the Christ.
It is also wary to note that life is not what it is deemed to be...and that is disheartening and tragic all the same but love...but God.
The love of God keeps us.
The love of God shapes us.
The love of God is everlasting to everlasting.
If you feel alone, as if you are forgotten and hopeless please remember that love is available. It is the most powerful, dynamic, and it will chase you down to consume you. God is chasing you, yes, and he doesn't get tired. One day, you are going to get tired enough to stop running and that is where he will collide with you.
It isn't enough to know you are loved but to feel you are loved.
It is what keeps us burning.
It does something that nothing else can do, it provides hope in a form that is tangible.
Give in.
Give in to God's love.
You are tired and that is enough.
