 GOD KNOWS

When is it ever a good time to fail? But we do...often...

I don't want to sound harsh, but the words written may give a specific tone that is to be entreated with care and not carelessness. This is serious, either many read it or not this has to be said. We are too close to an ending then we are to a beginning. However, we are closer to the beginnings or living eternally than without. Let me disclose something to you, it isn't that you are running out of time, but rather time is running out. 

We think that we have forever to get something right, we think we have forever to draw near to God, but the stark reality is that we have right now just as much as we have it. 

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." (See 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8) 

Those that trouble you, think for a moment about the sufferings that Christians have to go through, but also be aware there is a judgement to those who do not obey the gospel and even to those who do not know God. The reminder here is that those who trouble you are those who oppose the very words of the gospel, which is taught by one teacher, Christ Jesus, above all. 

Marvel not, the world hates you. (See 1 John 3:13)

Be warned, not fear. For we are to not believe every spirit, but to try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Hereby know you the Spirit of God: EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH IS OF GOD. (See 1 John 4:1-2.)

This is how we navigate, yes this is even how we know who is of God. Do you want to be more tactful in discerning?

The world is not your friend; in it you will find false prophets and in it you will find those that hate you without cause. Don't listen to everyone because not all have faith in God, not all love a caring, and beautiful Creator. 

Why am I mentioning this?

I have seen many people on Social Media, writers, people of influence, channels on YouTube and so on...saying they are hearing from God with words of wisdom from God but sell courses on how to hear from God. There is something, happening...odd, even to the point of having a careful eye.

Something very dark is taking place. We are failing to realize this danger...the danger of listening to everything. If we are not mindful, careful, discerning...the person you are listening to may as well confess NOT Christ. It is evident, clear even as to a child. It is either yes or no and anything else that comes after that is evil. (See Matthew 5:37)

We are not fools.

We are wise, but not in our own eyes.

We are taught not of men, but of the Holy Spirit as the anointing rests on us. 

Be ever careful, for the world is waxing, turning worse...don't be consumed by the words of others, but test the spirit, not the words. For lies are crafty, but the spirit...God knows and he will reveal to you rather that person is of God simply through their confession of what they believe about Christ Jesus.
