AGAIN...AND AGAIN. | WITH KAYA COCOE

 AGAIN...AND AGAIN.

The pains in life cycle but hope delivers given by a gracious God.

The quote above does seldom lie. No, it doesn't lie at all. It hurts, but it is true. We want to hide sometimes and even to the point of starting over into new beginnings. What causes this? What would make someone want to end it all and start afresh. The answer is: a lot.

There is a lot that one could say that would make them want to start over.

Sometimes it is the reasons of wanting a clean slate, to begin again and with the wisdom they now acquired from life's lessons. Other times it is because of a drastic and devastating event that resurfaces their life. Or...it could be that person wants to give up and throw it all away in hopes to find hope.

Whichever it may be the quote above stays the same, wanting to fold as a budding flower in reverse...that's deep, that is the true definition of wanting to start over.

We can't be so dull as to not feel what we are feeling...we must face ourselves eventually.

We must face God in all respects.

I don't think you heard me, clearly...at least you don't want to hear me. We must face God in all of this...for without God we can do nothing. (See John 15:5). We literally are the clay being molded in God, with his hands deciding what goes where and when.

What if I told you, you could give up now?

Let that weight fall, it has done enough already. Let yourself fold as a budding flower in reverse, see the sun no more and eat the ground to begin again with thoughts of this life in lessons learned, but only to be revealed before light once more. We have to die to ourselves...we live unto God.

We have to let go.

Everything that is holding you back is...well--you. You are the boundary that refuses to move. It is not that you are at fault, but you are indeed a victim of self. Not that we are adopting the victim mentality but rather you are a victim based on your innocence of ignorance. You just don't know, you don't know yet, how good it can get if you just give it over to God.

That's what a boundary looks like when we are the boundary. We think we are safe by putting up a wall of security only to be placing it in front of a loving, caring...Father. Who died to give us his life.

We need to step back, step down, and be children once more.
Because I fear we missed it...
I fear we missed just being children, playing with the hem of our Father's garment.
